I knew I had to explore more to share with you here on the blog.
Melissa lives in Asheville, North Carolina.
To obtain her clay, she heads out to Arkansas, where she owns some land,
and digs it and then processes it herself.
She makes all her pieces by hand,
either thrown on the wheel, slab constructed or pinched.
Her simple designs are graphic and robust,
with a homey, relaxed look.
