Snapshots of Disney World's EPCOT

EPCOT is no doubt the favorite Disney park of each of my family members!
Here's that easily recognizable 180' geosphere that's the park icon: Spaceship Earth.

The photo below shows a portion of the mosaic that represents the
geologic layers of the earth and frames the entryway of The Land pavilion.
It was created by Hanns & Monika Sharff, who also did the
Cinderella mosaics in the Magic Kingdom.
(Blog post to come on those mosaics!)

Beautiful fountains in front of the Imagination pavilion.

We just love to take our time and stroll around the World Showcase!
Besides going to each of the 11 country's attractions,
it's fun to take in the themed decor, hear the ethnic music, and
feel the vibe of that country's culture as we shop,
dine and snack our way around the world!

A gorgeous replica of Beijing's Temple of Heaven
is the centerpiece of the China pavilion.

Cousins take a break in the shade.

The Biergarten Restaurant in the Germany pavilion invites you to attend
an Octoberfest celebration with a wonderful buffet and spirited entertainment!

A replica of the Doge's Palace in Venice graces the Italy pavilion.

The torii gate at Japan.

The beautiful pagoda in Japan is a replica of a 7th century temple.
We had an outstanding meal at Teppan Edo.

Mosaics in Morocco.

We happened to catch an amazing performance
of France's street acrobats, Serveur Amusant!

The Canada pavilion features totem poles and a replica of Ottawa's Château Laurier.

Happy Disney Vacationers!

Spaceship Earth looks gorgeous at night!

Illuminations fireworks are not to be missed!

We love EPCOT!
